I congratulate Wim and his collaborators on producing the current version of weather34 for WD in such a short time. I had been wondering how long I could keep the old WU API version going, and this new version has appeared just in time. Inevitably, users will want changes to suit their own tastes. A number of these suggestions are, unsurprisingly, based on the old version X5 that I have been running for some time at http://swanston.maui.co.uk/pwsold. I make no apology for that: it's a personal list that others can use as a starter for argument. So here goes: Move clock back to top rail to allow more small blocks - and please use a font where numeral 1 has the same set width as all the other numerals! More options for small blocks: extra temp/hum/apparent (to be user-named), indoor temp/hum/apparent (currently a waste of a large block), standalone UV, standalone solar, cloudbase, max-min wind, earthquake alert; so that we do not have to have, e.g., fixed clock and fixed alerts. Allow easy editing (e.g. of colour choices) of small block headings in easyweathersetup. Make more choices available in drop-down setup menus for last two blocks, so that the last block does not have to be Moon or AQI. [I don't have AQI and I can get Moon info from the Moon pop-up in the Sun block, so I have edited easyweathersetup to allow me to get webcam and earthquake info (or indoor temp and earthquake info) - see http://swanston.maui.co.uk/pws. This also shows "extratemp1" (clientraw #20) in the "indoor temp" bubble of the main temp. block: blame Google Translate for the current translations of "Garden".] Basically, I suggest that the user should be given more choices in easyweathersetup, to avoid repeated editing of individual scripts that will change as updates are introduced. [Wim: I can send you an old easyweathersetup.php for comparison.]
